Dinesh Karthik, the wicket-keeper batter for Royal Challengers Bangalore, felt unwell during the IPL 2023 match against Mumbai Indians. He was seen coughing and nearly vomiting on the field after getting out. RCB coach Sanjay Bangar confirmed that Karthik was feeling sick but still went out to bat. After getting out, he vomited in the dugout.

Bangar stated that Karthik was dehydrated and had enough time to recover before the next match. He also emphasized that Karthik was an important player for RCB and had a big role to play in the tournament.

In the match, Karthik had scored a quick 30 runs off 17 balls before getting out. RCB posted a challenging total of 199/6, but Mumbai Indians chased it down with ease thanks to a career-best knock of 83 runs by Suryakumar Yadav.

Despite the loss, RCB has time to regroup before their next match. With proper medication and rest, Karthik should be back in action soon.
