Renowned doctor Dr Yalamanchili Rabindranath has called on the government to improve facilities in state-run hospitals and make them more accessible to the public. He made this appeal during a birthday meeting for Telangana fighter and former MLA Bodepudi Venkateswara Rao, organized by BVK and CPM two town committee. Dr Rabindranath criticized the Central government for not allocating enough funds to the health sector and expressed concern about the lack of importance given to healthcare in the country.

Dr Rabindranath specifically requested that the government establish a hospital similar to NIMS in the district. He explained that providing all necessary treatment facilities in government hospitals would alleviate the financial burden on people seeking medical care. CPM Khammam district secretary Nunna Nageswara Rao praised Bodepudi Venkateswara Rao’s contributions to public movements and his continuous advocacy for farmers’ issues. He emphasized that Venkateswara Rao played a significant role in leading the Telangana armed struggle and dedicated his life to serving the people.
