Hyderabad: BJP MP and national president of the party’s OBC Morcha, Dr. K Laxman, criticized the Congress party and its leader, Rahul Gandhi. He accused them of spreading false propaganda because they were unable to accept the success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government. According to Dr. Laxman, the Congress party is upset by the positive feedback Modi’s government has received from the people.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Dr. Laxman discussed the first 100 days of the Modi government’s third term, known as Modi-3.0. He said Rahul Gandhi has refused to accept the people’s decision in elections and is repeatedly making negative comments about the country. Dr. Laxman added that Gandhi claims there is no democracy in India and regularly makes such critical remarks about the country and the Prime Minister.
Dr. Laxman highlighted some of the achievements of Modi-3.0 in its first 100 days. He said that Rs 15 lakh crore had been invested in improving basic infrastructure in agriculture and other crucial sectors. The government has introduced reforms to improve the lives of the poor, middle class, and backward classes. Additionally, the government has focused on technology and creating better conditions for businesses.
He also mentioned that steps have been taken to boost the fisheries sector, including setting up five integrated aqua parks. The government has also allocated Rs 12,100 crore to the Polavaram Irrigation Project (PIP) to enhance the efficiency of the irrigation sector.
Dr. Laxman said that Rs 28,600 crore is being spent to establish 12 industrial smart cities, including one in Zaheerabad, Telangana. This initiative aims to make India a manufacturing hub. The government is also encouraging the production of electric vehicles and electric ambulances, with investments of Rs 10,000 crore.
In addition to these efforts, Dr. Laxman pointed out that metro rail projects, as well as improvements in education and healthcare, have been given priority. The Ayushman Bharat Scheme, which provides health benefits, has been extended to senior citizens aged 70 and above, benefiting six crore people.
