An awareness programme was held in Ameerpet under the leadership of Dr. Kota Neelima, who is in charge of the Sanathnagar Assembly Constituency. The event was attended by Civil Supplies officials, local Congress leaders, and party workers.
During the session, Dr. Neelima assured people that those who could not get ration cards during the caste census should not lose hope. She explained that ration cards were given mainly to lower-middle-class families. She advised eligible individuals to reapply through the Prajavani grievance redressal programme, which is conducted every Monday.
Dr. Neelima also stressed that every eligible person would receive a ration card. She urged people to report any officials asking for money in exchange for the cards. She warned that strict action would be taken against anyone involved in corrupt activities.
