    Degree admissions for the academic year 2024-25 through DOST in Telangana will begin on May 6. The admissions will be conducted in three phases, with the first phase allowing registrations by paying a fee of Rs 200. Applicants can make web selections between May 15 and 20, and seat allocation is set for June 3. Helpline centers are available to assist with registration and document uploads.

    Students can register on the DOST website using mobile OTP authentication if their Aadhaar is linked to their mobile number. If not, they must link a mobile number at an Aadhaar Update Center before registering. A new DOST mobile app is also available for registration using photo recognition technology.

    The second phase of admissions will be from June 3 to June 13, and the third phase from June 19 to June 25. Classes will begin on July 8 for various degree courses offered by affiliated colleges.

    The DOST portal features specific professions for easy selection and lists subject combinations for students. An Aadhar-enabled facial recognition app is introduced for registration, catering to BIE graduates in Telangana. Real-time digital face recognition is also available via T-App Folio to minimize physical interaction.
