Hyderabad: BJP National Vice-President and Mahbubnagar MP, DK Aruna, has expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will emerge victorious in Delhi. She stated that regardless of the conspiracies against the party, “Delhi will be ours,” and the people are ready to teach Congress a lesson once again.

Speaking to the media at the BJP State Headquarters on Friday, DK Aruna criticized the current administration in Delhi, led by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). She claimed that the AAP government has failed to address the needs of the people or maintain their trust. This failure, she said, has made the people of Delhi eager for change.

Aruna accused the former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader, Arvind Kejriwal, of corruption, stating that his government has faced allegations and jail time due to corruption charges. She added, “The people of Delhi no longer trust him. The BJP’s victory in Delhi is certain, regardless of any tactics used by other parties.”

Turning her attention to Congress, Aruna criticized its approach in Telangana and accused Congress leader Revanth Reddy of making false promises. She said that Revanth is repeating the same guarantees and schemes he claimed in places like Mumbai and Haryana, which she described as lies. According to her, the people of Delhi do not trust Congress or its promises and are ready to reject them once again.

The BJP MP questioned Congress’s track record, asking what it had actually delivered. She highlighted unfulfilled promises, such as the failure to waive farmers’ loans or provide Rythu Bharosa in Telangana. She also noted that unemployed youth did not receive promised financial assistance, nor did women get the Rs 2,500 monthly aid promised during the State Assembly elections. “Despite this, Congress continues to spread lies in Delhi,” she concluded.
