Mahabubnagar: DK Aruna, the BJP candidate in Palamuru, criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his political moves in the region. She accused the Congress of spreading fear and using dirty tactics before the elections. Aruna spoke at a public gathering and called out Revanth Reddy for trying to gain support in Palamuru through repeated visits, which she labeled as desperate.
Aruna criticized Revanth Reddy for ignoring important issues like Congress’ promises and instead resorting to personal attacks. She questioned his suitability to ask for votes on behalf of the Congress, pointing to his involvement in the cash-for-vote scandal. Aruna warned the public to be cautious of Revanth Reddy’s words due to his tainted reputation and asked him to respect the dignity of the chief minister’s position.
Directly challenging the CM, Aruna questioned his integrity and called on him to address issues like DK Satya Reddy and Chittem Narsireddy’s contributions. She condemned his disrespectful behavior towards women leaders, warning that it would alienate the public. Aruna also challenged Revanth Reddy on farmer loan waivers, asking if he would step down if the promises were not fulfilled by August.
Highlighting the struggles of Palamuru residents, Aruna cautioned against falling for false promises and tricks. She encouraged women in Palamuru to be vigilant against harassment and insults, stressing the importance of holding accountable those who undermine their rights and dignity.
