There was a tense situation in Nirmal as former MLA and BJP leader Eleti Maheshwar Reddy went on a hunger strike against the Nirmal Master Plan. BJP national vice-president DK Aruna, who was going to support Reddy, was stopped by the police on the way.

BJP National General Secretary Bandi Sanjay was angry about this and strongly condemned Aruna’s arrest. He believed that arresting Aruna, who was showing solidarity with Reddy, was an evil act. Sanjay also mentioned that people are observing the trends of KCR’s dictatorship and that the KCR government will soon be removed from power.

Sanjay demanded that the list of double bedroom beneficiaries be disclosed immediately and questioned what happened to the 2.5 lakh houses sanctioned by the Modi government.
