    NagarKurnool: Be Alert and Safe, Says SHE Team In-charge

    District SHE Team In-charge, Vijayalakshmi, has advised women and girl students to stay vigilant against strangers and not to fear any threats. She made these remarks during a SHE Team awareness conference held on Wednesday at the Zilla Parishad High School in Medipur village, Taduru mandal.

    During the event, Vijayalakshmi introduced the T-SAFE app, encouraging girls and women to download and use it while traveling. She stressed that harassment often comes from people known to the victims, urging them to be cautious. She reassured that any information reported to the SHE Team would remain confidential and that strict action would be taken against the harassers.

    Vijayalakshmi also highlighted that the police would not tolerate any immoral activities targeting students and that legal actions would be taken against offenders. She mentioned that the SHE Team operates at key locations in mandal and district centers and provided contact numbers for reporting incidents: 100 or 8712657676.

    Additionally, students were educated on the safe use of social media, the services offered by the Bharosa Center, and the POCSO Act. The event was attended by Headmaster Thyagaraju Goud, teachers, SHE Team members Venkataiah, Bharosa Coordinator Srilatha, and others.
