    Gadwal Celebrates 76th Republic Day with Enthusiasm

    On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, District Superintendent of Police (SP) T. Srinivasa Rao, IPS, hoisted the National Flag at the District Police Office in Gadwal. He extended warm greetings to the police staff and the public during the morning ceremony.

    In his address, the SP emphasized the importance of performing police duties with dedication and within the framework of the Constitution. He highlighted that the core principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, as outlined in the Constitution, are the foundation of India’s progress and a peaceful society. He urged everyone to honor the sacrifices of the leaders and martyrs who made the Republic possible.

    The SP also reflected on India’s achievements over the past seven decades, including economic growth, technological advancements, and social development. He called on everyone to work together to ensure that the benefits of development reach all citizens and to contribute to making India a leading global nation.

    Recognition of Police Personnel

    During the event, the SP honored nine police personnel from the district who were selected for the prestigious Utkrishta Seva Patak and Ati Utkrishta Seva Patak awards for the year 2024. Additionally, two officers recognized for their services in 2020 were also presented with their awards.

    The event also included the felicitation of winners of district-level online competitions organized as part of Police Flag Day in October 2024. The competitions included essay writing, photography, and short film categories.

    The Republic Day celebrations in Gadwal were a testament to the dedication and service of the police force, as well as a reminder of the values upheld by the Indian Constitution.
