Gadwal: Principal Senior Civil Judge and District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Secretary, Ganta Kavitha Devi, assured that she will address all student-related issues by bringing them to the attention of the concerned authorities for a quick resolution.

On Wednesday, Ganta Kavitha Devi visited the Urban Residential School in the district center. She explained that after receiving reports about poor conditions at the school, she decided to visit and inspect the premises herself. During her visit, she checked all the classrooms, the kitchen, and the surrounding areas to understand the problems the students were facing.

The students shared several concerns with her. They mentioned fears of snakes in the area, a lack of safe drinking water, poor sanitation, and inadequate toilet facilities. They also spoke about the shortage of classrooms, the absence of protective mesh on windows, and a lack of proper sleeping arrangements. Additionally, the students informed the judge that there were no Telugu, Hindi, or Physical Education (PET) teachers, and there was also no ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) available.

She also stressed the need for extra precautions due to the presence of snakes and other safety concerns around the school. The judge reassured the students that steps would be taken to improve safety, hygiene, and the overall environment at the school, creating a safer place for them.
