    Nagar Kurnool: On Saturday, Dr. K. Ravi Kumar Naik, the District Immunization Officer, visited several health sub-centers to check on the children’s immunization program. This program is run by the district health department and is part of the services provided under the Palem Primary Health Center in Bijnapally Mandal.

    The health centers Dr. Naik visited included Karukonda, Lingasanipally, and Parvathayapally in Tadur Mandal. During the visit, he gave important instructions to the staff and reviewed the quality of the vaccines being given to the children.

    Dr. Naik also stressed the importance of informing parents or guardians about the vaccines their children are receiving. He mentioned that they should be made aware of the benefits, especially how these vaccines protect children from dangerous diseases. He also told the staff to make sure parents know when their child’s next vaccination is due.

    Several people joined Dr. Naik during the inspection, including Mid-Level Health Provider Dr. Narayana, Health Extension Officer Badam Rajeshwar, Vaccine In-charge D. Kumar, and Female Health Workers Vijaya, Padma Yadamma, Haimavathi, along with ASHA workers.
