Valmiki Jayanti celebrations were held in Gadwal with great enthusiasm. The event was organized by the District Backward Classes Welfare Department at the District Collector’s Office.
District Collector B.Yam. Santosh and local MLA Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy participated in the ceremony. They paid their respects to Valmiki by garlanding his portrait.
Many others were present at the event, including Additional District Collectors Lakshminarayana Narsing Rao, District BC Welfare Officer Ramesh Babu, and leaders from the Valmiki community like Gattu Thimmappa and Anjaneyulu. Councilor Murali, Raju, Madhusudan Babu, and several other district officials and staff from the Collectorate also joined the celebrations.
