District Collector Adarsh Surabhi held an important meeting on Tuesday with health and municipal officials to prepare for breast cancer screenings in Wanaparthy. The meeting, held in the afternoon, included discussions with the District Medical and Health Department Officer, medical personnel, and the Municipal Commissioner. These screenings are scheduled to take place on December 18 at the municipal office.

A team from Hyderabad’s well-known M.N.J. Cancer Hospital will visit Wanaparthy to conduct the screenings. The team, comprising 10 medical staff members, will bring the necessary equipment to perform mammogram tests. The screenings will start at 10 a.m. and are expected to serve nearly 200 women from nearby areas, including Kadukkuntla, Gopalpet, and Peddamandadi.
