District Collector Jitesh V. Patil emphasized the importance of the successful implementation of the Sampurna Abhiyaan program in Badradrikothagudem district. This program is part of NITI Aayog’s Aspirational District and Aspirational Mandal initiative. During a review meeting with district officials, the Collector discussed the need for education, medicine, nutritious food, and agriculture in the district and Gundala Mandal.
To expedite development in these areas, the Sampurnata Abhiyan program will take place at the district level on the 4th day of July and in Gundala Mandal on the 5th day of July. The main goal of this program is to achieve 100% of planned indicators within the next three months. The Collector stressed the importance of conducting house-to-house surveys in the medical department, registering pregnant women, conducting blood pressure and diabetes tests, and providing supplementary nutrition to pregnant women.
In terms of agriculture, soil health cards should be issued to farmers and loans should be provided to women’s groups. The Collector reiterated that the primary objective of the Sampornata Abhiyan program is to ensure the successful implementation of planned indicators within three months. The review meeting was attended by various officials including DRDO Vidya Chandana, CPO Srinivas Rao, Women and Child Welfare Officer Vijah, District Medical Officer Bhaskar Naik, Agriculture Department ED Sai, CMO Naga Rajasekhar, and Aspirational Black Fellow Navaneeth.
