    Gadwal: District Collector B.M. Santhosh emphasized the importance of following the path shown by Telangana ideologue Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar. He highlighted the significance of walking in the footsteps of Professor Jayashankar.

    On Tuesday, the District Collector attended the birth anniversary celebrations of Professor Jayashankar as the chief guest. The event was organized by the BC Welfare Department at the Integrated District Offices Complex. During the ceremony, he paid tribute by garlanding Professor Jayashankar’s portrait.

    The District Collector praised Professor Jayashankar for his dedication to the creation of a separate Telangana state. He noted that Jayashankar wrote several books about the necessity of forming Telangana. The government celebrates Jayashankar’s birth anniversary on August 6th to honor his sacrifices.

    He encouraged everyone to draw inspiration from Professor Jayashankar’s life and thoughts. He also urged government employees to ensure that welfare development programs reach the eligible poor sections with integrity.

    The event was attended by several officials, including ZP CEO Kanthamma, AO Veerabhadrappa, SC Corporation ED Ramesh Babu, BC Welfare Department in-charge officer Saroj, district officials, and Collectorate staff.
