    A minor argument at a liquor outlet in Vinayak Nagar, Neredmet, turned deadly on Monday night, resulting in the murder of a man. The incident has left the local community in shock.

    The victim, identified as 37-year-old B. Ramu, was a centering worker. He had consumed alcohol and was standing at a nearby pan shop when another man, Srikanth, arrived. Srikanth reportedly demanded a pan from the shopkeeper in a rude manner.

    Ramu objected to Srikanth’s harsh tone and advised him to speak politely. This led to an argument between the two men. Tempers flared, and Srikanth physically attacked Ramu, punching him in the face and other parts of his body.

    The assault caused severe injuries to Ramu, and he tragically died on the spot. Following the incident, Srikanth fled the area.

    The Neredmet police have launched an investigation into the case. Efforts are currently underway to locate and arrest Srikanth.
