After heavy rains last night, Dana Kishore, the principal secretary of municipal administration and urban development in Hyderabad, had a meeting with GHMC officials, enforcement vigilance, and disaster management on Monday. During the meeting, he asked about the situation in flood-affected areas and told officials to visit those areas and make improvements.
Kishore reminded everyone to stay alert during the rain and prevent traffic issues. He recommended working with the traffic police to address any water logging on main roads. On Sunday, he visited Serilingampally and Khairatabad zones, including Durgam Cheruvu and Nectar Garden, according to a senior officer.
