Hyderabad City Police Commissioner C V Anand has taken charge as the director of Telangana State Police Integrated Command and Control Centre (TSPICCC). The State government has sanctioned 400 posts for the center, including a director, a DIG, two SPs, four ASPs, six DSPs, and Inspector and sub inspectors. The goal is to manage all aspects of operations and management at the TSPICCC building.
During a meeting with staff officers, Commissioner Anand shared the vision and objectives of the facility. He encouraged them to use technology, data analysis, apps, and other tools to provide good service to the public. The plan is to involve other departments like GHMC and irrigation in the center for synchronized multi-agency operations.
The meeting also focused on setting targets, assigning tasks to officers, budget projections, and creating a comprehensive action plan. Directives were given to initiate tenders for amenities like a canteen and gymnasium within the building.
The strategic decision to relocate Dial 100, COEs, and strengthen existing wings while introducing new ones shows the government’s commitment to enhancing law enforcement capabilities. The aim is to effectively address security challenges and respond swiftly to calamities through the multi-agency operations center and disaster and crisis management center in the building.
