Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami criticized the Congress and BRS, calling them corrupt dynastic parties. He spoke at a ‘Yuva Sammelan’ event in Secunderabad while campaigning for BJP candidates Prof Sitharam Naik and DK Aruna.
Dhami mentioned that people across the country are calling for Narendra Modi to be re-elected as Prime Minister for a third term. He highlighted Uttarakhand as the first state to implement a Uniform Civil Code, which he hopes will be implemented nationwide if BJP wins a third term.
Comparing PM Modi’s leadership under the BJP-led NDA to the INDI Alliance, Dhami praised the government’s efforts to support various groups like SC, ST, OBCs, youth, women, and farmers. He criticized Congress for considering religious-based reservations, which he believes could harm existing reservations for economically disadvantaged communities.
Dhami reassured that PM Modi has promised to protect SC, ST, and OBC reservations. He accused Congress of failing to fulfill promises like investigating corruption in the Kaleswaram project and providing financial aid to farmers and women.
Encouraging youth to consider these issues and support BJP, Dhami emphasized their role in securing Modi’s third term as Prime Minister.
