The crèche provides a secure and professionally managed space for children, enabling police officers, especially mothers, to focus on their duties with peace of mind. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jitender highlighted how this initiative will positively impact the efficiency and well-being of police personnel, particularly women juggling childcare and professional responsibilities.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty noted that the initiative is a first for the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. He added that the Women and Children Safety Wing (W&CSW), headed by DCP Srujana Karnam, will oversee the facility to ensure its effective operation.

DCP Srujana Karnam provided further details about the crèche, explaining that it was specifically designed to support policewomen with young children. The facility currently accommodates 15 children but has the capacity to house up to 30. It operates from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is open to children up to seven years old. A dedicated team of five teachers and one caregiver ensures high-quality care for the children.

Dr. Aperna Volluru, founder of My School Italy, praised the initiative, stating, “As part of our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive work culture, we recognized the need to provide a safe and nurturing environment for employees’ children.”

This crèche marks a significant step in supporting police personnel and setting a progressive example for workplace childcare solutions in the region.
