    Hyderabad: The State Director-General of Police (DGP) Dr. Jitender on Friday instructed police officers to improve the efficiency of Dial 100/112 emergency calls.

    He held a video conference with all Commissioners of Police (CPs), Superintendents of Police (SPs), and Station House Officers to discuss the emergency helpline.

    Dr. Jitender emphasized the importance of the Dial 100/112 service in ensuring public safety and a quick police response. He highlighted the need for prompt and effective action on calls received through this helpline and shared new strategies to enhance the service.

    The meeting was attended by Additional Directors-General of Police Mahesh M Bhagvath and VV Srinivasa Rao, Inspectors-General of Police M Ramesh and V Satyanarayana, Hyderabad City Joint Commissioner of Police Parimala Hana Nutan, and other senior officers.

    These officials provided valuable suggestions for improving the Dial 100 service. All officers committed to making improvements within a set timeframe.
