    Mancherial MLA Kokkirala Prem Sagar Rao has announced that several important development projects will begin in the constituency by the end of this month. He shared this news during a press conference held at his residence on Sunday.

    Among the key projects, there will be the construction of a super specialty hospital at the IB site. Additionally, a flood protection wall will be built at Rallavagu, and new lift irrigation schemes will be launched. A bridge across the Godavari river, connecting Mulkalla to Basanth Nagar, will also be constructed at a cost of Rs 375 crores. The MLA mentioned that proposals for a second overbridge have already been sent to the central government.

    Furthermore, proposals have been submitted for constructing a four-lane road from Srinivasa Gardens to Quarry Road via old Mancherial, with an estimated budget of Rs 164 crores. The MLA assured that loan waivers will be given to farmers, with each farmer receiving a waiver of up to Rs 2 lakhs. He also announced plans to issue new ration cards to eligible residents.

    MLA Kokkirala Prem Sagar Rao emphasized that he will be accessible to the people of the constituency, regardless of his position. He issued a warning against the encroachment of government lands, grabbing of lakes, and any form of corruption, stating that such actions will not be tolerated.

    The press conference was attended by district Congress committee president Kokkirala Surekha, municipal chairman Raavula Uppalaiah, and other Congress leaders.
