Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Roads & Buildings (R&B) Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy have directed officials to speed up the construction of the Regional Ring Road.

During a meeting on Thursday to review the budget for the Roads and Buildings Department, the ministers assured officials that there is no shortage of funds for projects like the Regional Ring Road, including its Detailed Project Report (DPR) and 3D designs. Bhatti Vikramarka emphasized that the faster the work progresses, the quicker funds will be sanctioned.

Officials have been asked to prepare a report on the assets of the R&B Department across the State. They must also take steps to prevent these valuable assets from being lost or misused. The R&B Minister instructed officials to speed up the construction of Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) roads and ensure that roads connecting district centers to the State capital are fully developed.
