    Delhi’s water supply disruption to continue until the morning of August 3rd

    Water supply in various areas of Delhi will be disrupted tomorrow morning due to repair work near the Palam Keshopur metro station. This may cause inconvenience for the residents as they may face water shortages. To address this issue, the Delhi Jal Board will provide water supply to the affected areas through water tankers. Earlier today, water supplies were also disrupted in many localities due to maintenance work near the Keshavpur metro station.

    The impacted areas include Delhi Cantt, NDMC, RK Puram, Motibagh Nanakpura, Peeragarhi, JJ Colony, Sagarpur, C3 SFS Flat, Janakpuri, and neighboring areas. The Jal Board will ensure that water is delivered to these areas using water tankers. They have set up a helpline number to assist people in case of any emergencies or concerns.

    Furthermore, the Delhi Jal Board has established an emergency helpline number specifically for RK Puram, Greater Kailash, Vasant Kunj, Vasant Vihar, Paschimi Vihar, and D Block Janakpuri. In case of any disruptions in water supply, residents in these locations can contact the helpline for assistance. Water tankers will be deployed to provide water to affected residents during this time.

    To inform the public about the disruption and repair work, the Delhi Jal Board tweeted a message stating that water supply in certain colonies/areas will not be available or will be low-pressure due to interconnection work at Keshopur Metro Station. They included the hashtags #DJB4U and #DJBNEWSALERT in their tweet.

    Overall, the Delhi Jal Board is taking necessary measures to minimize the impact of water supply disruptions and ensure that affected residents receive adequate water through alternative means.
