Due to heavy rains in Delhi and nearby areas, people are finding it difficult to leave their homes. The rain has caused flooding in Yamuna’s Khadar region and other NCR cities like Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad.

On Wednesday, heavy rain started early in the morning, causing waterlogging all over Delhi. The Yamuna river is overflowing and water from the Hindon river is also spreading. Fresh rains have raised the water level in Yamuna above the danger mark.

Flooding continues in many parts of Ghaziabad and Noida due to the overflow of the Hindon river. Thousands of houses have been evacuated and people are taking shelter in relief camps. Cars parked in waterlogged areas have also been submerged.

The Yamuna river in Delhi is still flowing beyond the danger zone. The flow of water on the old iron bridge is very swift. The heavy rains on Wednesday may worsen the city’s problems.

The administration is also worried about the heavy rains. The water level downstream of the Hindon river at the Ghaziabad barrage is high, causing more difficulties for people in the affected areas.
