The Supreme Court has made a ruling on who controls the bureaucracy in Delhi. They have decided that the Delhi administration should be in charge of providing services, with a few exceptions. The court disagreed with Justice Bhushan’s decision that the Delhi government has no control over services.

During the hearing, a five-judge Constitution Bench questioned the need for an elected government in Delhi. The conflict arose after the Centre claimed that they should administer Union Territories.
