Digital Employment Exchange of Telangana (DEET) to Boost Job Opportunities

Gadwal: The Digital Employment Exchange of Telangana (DEET) will play an important role in providing private-sector job opportunities, said T. Ramalingeshwara Goud, General Manager of the District Industries Department.

Speaking at the meeting, T. Ramalingeshwara Goud explained that the Telangana government launched DEET as an AI-based digital employment platform. This platform helps young job seekers find relevant private-sector job opportunities by identifying their skills. It serves as a bridge between job aspirants and industries.

DEET offers several useful services, including resume preparation guidance, location-based job notifications, internship and apprenticeship opportunities, and job fairs. Job seekers can also use the platform for job postings, job alerts, HR chats, and interview scheduling. These services are available through the DEET website, as well as Android and iOS apps.

The General Manager urged students from ITI, Polytechnic, Degree, Engineering, Pharmacy, and other vocational courses to register on DEET. He emphasized that this would improve their chances of finding jobs in both government and private sectors. He also directed officials to ensure that ITI and government degree college graduates in the district register on the platform.

To increase awareness, officials were encouraged to promote the DEET app among college students. This would help more young people benefit from the job opportunities provided through the platform.

    Officials Present at the Meeting

The meeting was attended by key officials, including:

    T. Rammohan (Principal, Polytechnic)
    S.V.V. Satyanarayana (Principal, ITI)
    Dr. Priyanka (District Employment Officer)

Other department representatives were also present.

This initiative is expected to create more job opportunities for youth in the district and enhance their career prospects.
