State Minister Ponnam Prabhakar congratulated Deepa Dasmunshi on being appointed as the Telangana state in-charge of the Congress party. Ponnam Prabhakar shared a video of himself offering a bouquet of flowers to Deepa to convey his greetings.
Deepa was chosen by the high command to replace Manikrao Thakre, who served as the party’s in-charge during the assembly elections. Deepa Dasmunshi is the wife of senior West Bengal leader Priyaranjan Das Munshi. Meanwhile, Manikrao Thakre has been assigned as the in-charge of Goa affairs by the party headquarters.
