BJP District President Ramachandra Reddy has criticized the BRS and Congress for focusing on blaming each other instead of solving the real issues faced by people. He spoke at a press conference held at the BJP office in Aija town.

Reddy highlighted the poor condition of roads in the Jogulamba Gadwal district. He specifically mentioned major roads like the Aija-Gadwal road, Aija-Kurnool road, Gadwal-Raichur road, and Gattu-Gadwal road, which are all in bad shape. He expressed concern that these roads are so damaged that they pose serious risks to the public, especially during emergencies.

He also pointed out the poor condition of culverts across the district, which makes traveling even more dangerous. Reddy mentioned several critical link roads in Aija mandal, such as the Medikonda link road, Uttanur link road, Chinna Tandrapadu link road, and the TT Doddi link road. He described the bridge over Pedda Vagu on the route from Aija to Kurnool as particularly hazardous.

Reddy criticized Congress and BRS party leaders in the Alampur constituency for wasting time on mudslinging rather than focusing on development. He also raised concerns about the unfinished construction of the Polonu Vagu bridge on the Aija to Medikonda road. The construction started a year ago but remains incomplete. Due to recent rains, the unfinished work has become ineffective, leading to the misuse of government funds.

Reddy demanded immediate action against the officials and contractors responsible for the delay and called for the prompt completion of the project. He warned that if the authorities do not address the deteriorating roads and damaged culverts across the district, the BJP will organize a district-wide roadblock protest.

The press conference was attended by Kisan Morcha State Executive Member Medikonda Bhim Sen Rao, Town General Secretary Kampati Bhagat Reddy, Lakshman Goud, Lakshmana Chari, Venkatesh, Yadav, and other activists.
