The Andhra Pradesh Government has extended the deadline for DSC applications by three days until February 25 due to technical issues faced by candidates in paying fees and submitting applications. The government announced the DSC-2024 notification on February 12 for filling 6,100 government teacher posts. The exams will be held online from March 15 to 30, with two phases each day: 9:30 am to 12 noon and 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
The High Court had initially halted the DSC process, but later allowed recruitment to proceed as planned except for SGT posts requiring B Ed qualification. A total of 3,17,950 people have applied for TET and 3,19,176 for DSC. The school education department is offering an edit option for applicants to correct any mistakes in their submissions. Detailed instructions for using the edit feature can be found on the apdsc.apcfss website.
