The dead body of a woman was found in a farmhouse in Chevella, Rangareddy district. The owner of the farmhouse, Mallareddy, discovered the body while digging holes for a pipeline. He became suspicious when he found a blanket in the rocks and then uncovered the woman’s hands and legs. Mallareddy immediately informed the police.
The police quickly launched an investigation into the murder. Within 24 hours, they identified the woman as Shivalila alias Maisamma from Chevella village. The police uncovered key information during their investigation.
Shivalila had been living separately from her husband for nine years. She met a couple named Satya and Kalpana at a toddy center in Moinabad and asked them for work. The couple brought her to the farmhouse where they were working. They also tried to get the farmhouse owner, Mallareddy, to hire Shivalila, but he refused as they were drunk. Mallareddy left, and Satya and Kalpana continued drinking.
In their drunken state, the couple got into a fight with Shivalila and beat her with a stick, causing fatal head injuries. Fearing the consequences, they buried her in the farmhouse.
The next day, when Mallareddy started digging holes for the pipeline, he discovered the blanket and the woman’s body. He immediately reported it to the police, who then arrested Satya and Kalpana. The local community is now discussing this shocking murder and burial of a woman.
