District Collector BM Santhosh has ordered officials to digitally enter the applications received in the Praja Palana program. Each application and column should be entered online without any mistakes, and each application should be given a unique identification number. The district Collector also participated in a training program on data entry procedure for the Praja Palana applications. He directed officials to carefully digitalize the information provided by the poor people, so that welfare schemes can reach eligible individuals. There are 350 data entry operators in the district who will inform how many applications can be digitalized each day. The officials have been advised to avoid mistakes and closely monitor the online digitalization process. A mobile OTP will be sent for each application. Data entry operators are advised to create a WhatsApp group with the master trainers for clarifying doubts. 1.5 lakh applications have been received so far and each one should be digitalized. Officials will verify the applications through field visits after the 17th of this month. Officials were directed to complete the registration of application details within a specified period of time. Various officials including additional collectors, ZP CEO, master trainers, DPO, and mandal officials participated in a morning meeting at the Collectorate.
