Mulugu District Collector Divakar T S visited the mini-tank bund on Thursday. He was there to inspect the area in preparation for the upcoming Bathukamma festival. The goal was to ensure that the location would be suitable for women and girls to celebrate the festival.
During his visit, the Collector gathered information about the size and condition of the bund from MRO Vijayabhaskar. He also gave instructions to officials to make sure the bund remains free from encroachments.
Furthermore, the Collector emphasized the need for making the area comfortable and safe for women and girls during the festival celebrations. He asked the concerned authorities to ensure that there are no difficulties for them while participating in the event.
