Wanaparthy Collector Urges Quick Completion of Pending Works
Wanaparthy District Collector Adarsh Surabhi has directed officials to complete all pending construction works under the Panchayati Raj, Roads & Buildings (R&B), and EWIDC departments by the end of the month. He reviewed the progress of these projects in a meeting and urged officials to speed up their work.
He specifically mentioned the repairs needed in 44 schools under the Flood Damage Repair (FDR) funds for the PR department. Additionally, he asked for the completion of 20 Anganwadi buildings under EWIDC and four Anganwadi buildings allocated to the R&B department.
Surabhi also instructed officials to finish the construction of CC roads funded by the FDR scheme under the PR and R&B departments. He emphasized that once the work is completed, officials should submit the necessary utilisation certificates.
Regarding the ‘Mana Ooru – Mana Badi’ initiative, he asked officials to identify school buildings that are almost complete but remain unfinished due to pending bills. He stressed the importance of completing these buildings quickly so that they can be used.
The meeting was attended by Additional Collector (Local Bodies) Yadayya, PR EE Mallayya, R&B DE Seetharamaswamy, and EWIDC EE, along with other engineers and officials.
