    District Collector BM Santhosh has instructed officials to ensure that welfare schemes reach all eligible individuals. A review meeting was held to discuss the progress of these schemes, with a focus on six key guarantees in public governance.

    During the meeting, the Collector inquired about the number of public administration expenses received and pending applications in the district. Updates were sought on several key schemes:

    – Mahalakshmi Scheme: Number of applications for the Rs. 500k gas cylinder subsidy and their progress.
    – Griha Jyoti Scheme: Number of beneficiaries receiving zero-bill benefit and efforts to ensure all eligible applicants receive their entitlements.
    – Free Bus Travel for Women: Allocation of buses and usage statistics.
    – Public Administration Service Centers: Promotion of corrections and updates through these centers for increased awareness and accessibility.
    – Mahila Shakti Initiatives: Details on units and investments for various initiatives, with a focus on women’s empowerment issues.
    – Vana Mahotsavam Program: Instructions to meet sapling distribution and planting targets in mandals and villages, with records to be maintained in TGF MIS.
