    Gadwal: Jogulamba Gadwal District Collector, B.M. Santosh, has asked farmers to support the construction of the Bharat Mala road. This road is an important project that will help in the development of the Gattu area.

    On Thursday, the Collector held a meeting at the Gattu Mandal Tahsildar’s office. During the meeting, he reviewed the land details involved in the road construction with officials from the highway authority. They used the Bharat Mala road mapping for this review.

    After the meeting, the Collector spoke directly with the farmers to hear their concerns. The farmers said they need compensation for the land that will be used for the road. They also requested service roads and bridges for the remaining land.

    In response, the Collector assured the farmers that they would receive the second installment of compensation within the next ten days. He also promised to connect the road from Survey Number 300, Macherla to Arigidda. Additionally, he confirmed that bridges and underpasses would be built as part of the project.

    The meeting was attended by Tahsildar Sarita Rani, NHAI Manager Kota Babu, other officials, and farmers. As part of the event, a tree was planted in the office premises.
