Hyderabad: Employees from DBS Tech visited the Telangana Forest Development Corporation Ltd’s Botanical Garden in Kondapur on Tuesday. The purpose of the visit was to help the employees connect with nature and learn more about birds and wildlife.
The day started with a nature walk, led by TGFDC’s naturalist Akhil, botanist Dr. Veera Kishore, and wildlife photographer Manoj Kumar. During the walk, the employees were introduced to various birds, unique rock formations, and lesser-known wildlife that live in the reserve forest.
Participants also enjoyed a virtual safari experience that made them feel as if they were in the middle of the animal kingdom. This event was organized by Nirman, an NGO.
One of the highlights of the day was a surprise snake awareness program organized by the Friends of Snakes Society. The program featured live snakes and provided both excitement and education for the participants.
Finally, the group visited the Botanical Garden’s themed parks, where they learned about the important role that trees and plants play in supporting human life every day.
