Former minister and ruling party MLA Danam Nagender made a bold statement on Friday, suggesting that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi Legislative Party (BRSLP) would soon merge with the ruling Congress. Nagender, who was initially elected as an MLA from the BRS party but later switched to the Congress before the Parliament elections, claimed that most BRS MLAs would join Congress in the near future, leaving only four MLAs in the BRS. He criticized BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao for his leadership style, stating that many BRS MLAs lacked recognition within the party.

According to Nagender, during the BRS party’s time in power, even MLAs struggled to meet KCR. He added that current BRS MLAs feel undervalued and do not trust KCR’s leadership. Nagender’s remarks were made during a media interaction in Hyderabad.
