Dana Kishore, the Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, visited areas in Hyderabad that were flooded after heavy rain. He checked out places in Serilingampally and Khairatabad zone, like Durgam Cheruvu and Nectar Garden. Before that, he talked to GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata about the situation.
Kishore said that during heavy rain, GHMC and Water Board officials need to stay on top of things. The emergency response teams from HMWSSB and NDRF should be sent out. They were told to go to problem areas and make things better. Bosses should keep an eye on things and understand what’s happening on the ground level.
