The Cyberabad Traffic Police, along with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), held a review meeting with the security and administrative heads of IT and IT-enabled services organizations in Cyberabad. The meeting was led by Mr. Joel Davis, the Joint Commissioner of Traffic Police, and Dr. Vineet, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for Madhapur.

During the meeting, Mr. Joel Davis talked about the various steps taken by the Cyberabad Traffic Police over the past six months to reduce traffic congestion on the main roads in the IT corridor. He highlighted the positive impact of deploying Traffic Marshals, which has helped in easing traffic flow daily. Mr. Davis also requested the industry to install high-power CCTV cameras on top of their high-rise buildings. These cameras should have an uninterrupted power supply and a good bandwidth connection to ensure continuous monitoring and better traffic management, even during adverse conditions.

DCP Madhapur, Dr. Vineet, also spoke at the meeting. He emphasized the importance of organizations being vigilant about the young workforce getting involved in drug use. He urged companies to regularly spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. Dr. Vineet also stressed the need for companies to closely monitor the functioning of POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) committees and ensure that every complaint from women staff is addressed satisfactorily.

Mr. Rajesh, the current leader of the traffic forum, encouraged the IT industry in Hyderabad to support the Traffic Marshal initiative more openly. He mentioned that having more Traffic Marshals would allow the Traffic Police to focus more on enforcing traffic rules. Mr. Naved, the Co-lead, also shared his thoughts during the meeting.
