The Cyberabad Police Commissioner, Avinash Mohanty, along with Joint Commissioner of Traffic D. Joel Davis, recently carried out an inspection of key traffic-heavy areas in Cyberabad. The main goal was to find ways to reduce traffic congestion and improve road conditions.
This inspection was done with the help of several important departments, including the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Telangana State Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL), and Town Planning officials. GHMC Zonal Commissioner Upender Reddy, TGSPDCL Assistant Engineer Prashanth, Madhapur Traffic Assistant Commissioner of Police Satyanarayana, and Madhapur Traffic Inspector G. Narsiah also joined the inspection.
Their visit included areas such as the JNTU – Yashoda ROB road, Siddhi Vinayak Nagar, Madhapur, and the NIA Service road. They looked at current traffic issues and discussed ways to improve the flow of vehicles. A major part of the inspection focused on road-widening work from Cyber Towers Junction to Yashoda Hospital, which aims to reduce traffic jams and make travel smoother.
Joint Commissioner D. Joel Davis explained that the relocation of electric poles along the JNTU-ROB service road is one of the improvements being made. He added that these efforts, in cooperation with various departments, will help reduce congestion and make commuting easier for everyone in the long run.
