Cyberabad police rescue infant and arrest two suspects

The Cyberabad police rescued an eight-month-old baby boy who was kidnapped while his parents were sleeping on a footpath in Fatehnagar, Sanath Nagar. The police chased the kidnappers for 150 km across different districts and safely reunited the child with his parents.

Two men, Satyanarayana Ram and Sunny Kumar Pandey, were arrested for the crime. Both are from Bihar. The child’s family, who live in huts near railway tracks, discovered the baby was missing on the morning of February 23. At first, they thought stray dogs might have taken him. After searching the area, they reported the kidnapping to the police.

Police started an investigation and checked CCTV footage. They spotted two men behaving suspiciously near the huts around the time the baby disappeared. This led them to suspect Ram and his accomplice.

When police reached Ram’s house, he was not there. However, technical evidence showed that he was traveling towards Nizamabad on NH-44. Acting quickly, the Cyberabad police set up teams and caught him near the Indalwai toll plaza. The child was rescued unharmed within just 24 hours.

Ram, who works as a driver for a private company, had no children of his own. Seeing the baby, he planned to kidnap him. With Sunny’s help, he used a vehicle from his workplace to carry out the crime.

The police successfully arrested both suspects, ensuring the child was safely returned to his family.
