The Cyberabad Police, in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC), has introduced a new web portal called the Cyberabad Police Permission Management System (CPPMS). This portal aims to digitize police services and streamline the process of permission approvals. By replacing the old manual methods, the CPPMS ensures faster and more transparent services for the public.

This initiative highlights the Cyberabad Police’s dedication to using technology to improve service delivery, increase accountability, and provide hassle-free services to citizens.

Key Features & Benefits of CPPMS

    1. Re-engineered Process:
Previously, all police permissions were issued manually. Now, the permission process has been restructured, with different authority levels such as ACsP (L&O), DCsP (L&O and Traffic), and Jt.CP (Traffic) handling event permissions. This delegation of power is designed to make it more convenient for the public.

    2. One-Stop Permission Platform:
All event-related permissions can now be applied for through a single online portal, eliminating the need to visit multiple offices.

    3. Timely Applications & Time-Bound Permissions:
Event organizers must apply at least 10 days or 7 working days in advance to ensure smooth processing. Permissions will be issued within a set timeframe.

    4. Automated Approval Process:
If there are delays in processing, applications are automatically forwarded to higher authorities, ensuring no unnecessary hold-ups.

    5. Comprehensive Event Data:
The portal provides detailed data on past events, venue capacities, and other important details, helping organizers plan events more efficiently.

    6. Real-Time Tracking & Transparency:
Applicants can track the status of their applications in real time. The process is secure and fully transparent.

    7. Freedom from Challan Submissions:
The portal supports online fee payments through net banking, simplifying the payment process.

    8. Venue Safety & Compliance Checks:
Users can verify if venues have the necessary permissions, such as fire safety, ambulance services, and CCTV cameras.

    9. Handling Rule Violations:
Violations at non-ticketed events can be reported through the platform, and the police will take strict action, including denying future permissions if necessary.

    10. Accountability for Ticket Selling Platforms:
The system will address discrepancies between the number of permitted tickets and the actual number released by online ticket selling platforms.

    Types of Permissions Available

As part of this digital transformation, the first phase of CPPMS is now live and offers online permissions for the following:

    1. Commercial/Ticketed Events
    2. Controlled Blasting NOC (Fresh)

Within the next three months, more types of permissions will be added to the portal.
