    Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police Commissioner, Avinash Mohanty, celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day by raising the national flag at the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate Parade Ground on Thursday. During the event, he paid tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for India’s independence.

    The Commissioner shared his heartfelt Independence Day greetings with both the police staff and the citizens. He spoke about the immense sacrifices made by many great individuals, which have given us the freedom we enjoy today. He encouraged everyone to draw inspiration from these sacrifices and to continue moving forward with determination and commitment.

    Commissioner Avinash Mohanty highlighted the crucial role of the police force in maintaining law and order, protecting national integrity, and serving the public with dedication. He urged police officials to work towards social harmony and peace, striving for the betterment of society.

    He also praised the Cyberabad police for their exemplary service to the community and their efforts in maintaining peace and order in the region.

    On this special occasion, Avinash Mohanty recognized and awarded 15 officers with the Uttam Seva Pathakam for their outstanding service on Telangana Formation Day 2024. Additionally, eight officers were honored with Ati Uthkrushta, Uthkrushta, and Uttama Seva Pathakam medals for their exceptional performances on various occasions.

    The event was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Cyberabad Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) D Joel Davis, Cyberabad Crimes DCP K Narasimha, SB DCP Sai Sri, W&CSW DCP Srujana Karnam, EOW DCP K Prasad, Cyber Crimes DCP Sri Bala Devi, L&O DCPs, ADCPs, ACPs, inspectors, reserve inspectors, section staff, ministerial staff, and other officials.
