    Cyberabad Police Take Action Against Bike Racers in Raidurgam

    The Cyberabad Police Commissioner, Avinash Mohanty, has addressed the issue of bike racers in Raidurgam who were causing disturbances and creating public nuisance. The Commissioner directed officers to take strict action against these offenders and register cases as per the law to ensure the safety and peace of the community.

    Focus on Law Compliance in Madhapur Zone

    During a crime review meeting for the Madhapur zone, Avinash Mohanty highlighted the need to monitor pubs to ensure they follow all legal regulations and maintain order. The meeting was attended by Madhapur Zone DCP Dr. G. Vineeth and other senior police officials, who reviewed the progress of ongoing cases and discussed ways to improve law enforcement strategies.

    Key Areas of Concern

    Several critical issues were discussed during the meeting, including resolving long-pending cases, speeding up investigations, and improving coordination with judicial officers to ensure timely filing of charge sheets. Special attention was given to Section 174 cases, missing persons cases, and handling kidnapping incidents, especially those involving women and children.

    Addressing Cybercrime

    The Commissioner also expressed concern over the rising number of cybercrimes. He urged the public to stay vigilant, report such crimes to the cybercrime police, and adopt safe online practices. Strategies to raise public awareness about digital fraud and online safety were discussed as part of the effort to combat cybercrimes.

    Improving Investigations and Convictions

    Avinash Mohanty reviewed the performance of the Special Operations Team (SOT) and the Crime Control Station (CCS) teams. He stressed the importance of efficient handling of cases and measurable progress in investigations. The Commissioner also emphasized resolving Non-Bailable Warrants (NBWs), tackling property crimes, and increasing conviction rates in cases related to forgery, robbery, and narcotics.

    Prioritizing Crimes Against Women and Children

    The Commissioner instructed officials to prioritize cases involving crimes against women and children. He called for swift arrests and the invocation of the PD Act against repeat offenders. Additionally, he encouraged citizens to install CCTV cameras, emphasizing their role as essential tools for evidence in court proceedings and crime prevention.

    This multi-faceted approach demonstrates the Cyberabad Police’s commitment to improving public safety and addressing various forms of crime effectively.
