    Odisha Police has launched the ‘Cyber Safety Campaign-2023’ to educate people about internet crimes and ensure their safety. The campaign aims to create a safer online environment by raising awareness and providing information on how to protect oneself from malicious activities on the internet. DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal expressed the commitment of the police to safeguard the citizens of Odisha from the perils of the digital age.

    The campaign includes the launch of a logo, mascot, campaign poster, theme song, two cyber safety advisory brochures, and campaign videos. The videos focus on fraudulent activities related to loan apps and the issue of child pornography. They aim to educate and empower the public to recognize and combat these threats effectively.

    The Cyber Safety Campaign 2023 targets citizens from all demographics, including students, parents, professionals, and senior citizens. Cybercrime involves various illegal activities committed using digital means, with the intention to deceive, defraud, or exploit unsuspecting individuals.
