    Continuing the efforts for women’s empowerment, Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand has stated in a tweet that for the first time in the 174-year history of the law and order police station, a woman inspector has been given the responsibility of SHO, not limited to words. He congratulated them for serving the people better.

    Encouraging women staff to excel in all fields. After CV Anand took charge as the city police commissioner, Madhuluta was given the SHO responsibility as Lalaguda inspector for the first time. At present Madhulatha, Lakshmi Madhavi, Madhavilatha and Chitti Burra are holding the responsibilities of Lalaguda, Bollaram, Langarhouse and Afzalganj SHOs.
