In Hyderabad, another sitting MP, Pasunuri Dayakar from Warangal, and MLA Danam Nagender met Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday. They are speculated to be joining the Congress party. Dayakar is upset after not receiving a ticket from the BRS this time. The party gave the ticket to Dr Kadiyam Kavya instead. Two days ago, Dayakar attended a meeting of Warangal leaders called by party Chief K Chandrashekar Rao.

Danam Nagender, the MLA from Khairatabad constituency in the city, may join the Congress party on March 18. The Congress party aims to regain its past glory in the State capital. Nagender was originally from the Congress party and joined the BRS after the 2018 elections. He has retained his seat once again. Sources suggest that Nagender may also be inducted into the cabinet.
