    Hyderabad: In relation to President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Hyderabad on July 4, various department officials were instructed by the Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari to make necessary arrangements. On Monday, a coordination meeting was held between CS and the senior officials from different departments, including DGP Anjani Kumar, to discuss the preparations for the President’s tour at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat.

    In this context, CS stated that on July 4, in the evening, the President will attend the 125th Jayanti celebrations of Alluri Sitaramaraju and officials should coordinate and manage the arrangements. They also mentioned that road repairs and barricading should be done and instructed the police officials to ensure extensive security measures. They informed that uninterrupted power supply, medical facilities, and cleanliness should be ensured.

    CS emphasized that all departments should work in coordination without any lapses, following the protocol. Special Principal Secretaries Sunil Sharma, Arvind Kumar, Home Secretary Jitender, Fire Services DGP Nagireddy, Government Secretaries Sheshadri, Srinivas Raju, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Raveendra, GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar, and Rangareddy Collector Harish, along with Director of Information and Public Relations Department B. Rajamouli, were present in the meeting.
